Recently realized I've never put up a journal entry here. O_O Not all that used to writing in general but I do like that there's a feature here to allow for something to be said along the road between pieces of work.

The latest drawing I've posted has been of Kate Duchêne, better known as her character Miss Hardbroom on the Worst Witch. My obsession with her took place years ago while I lived down in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There wasn't much to do and at the time I was living basically as a hermit. This is around the time they were airing the Worst Witch on TV. (Though they never got past the second season from what I recall.)

Something recently reminded me of this old delight and I started watching again via clips on youtube. There is something about Miss Hardbroom that keeps people coming back for more. She was, (in my opinion) what made the show so addictive. To commemorate that old crush I had to do a drawing of her, pretty happy with the results though. From terrorizing children to zapping evil witches, she's easily my favorite witch.
